the koreanspace story

it started pretty simple, honestly. i (kay) moved to hyderabad for work — tech job, gachibowli area, the usual. and i loved the city. the energy, the food scene, everything. but every time i craved a proper kimchi jjigae or a sizzling bibimbap, i'd end up at some place that... just didn't get it.

so i thought — what if we just made it ourselves? not a franchise, not a "fusion" thing. just a cozy spot with real korean food, the kind u'd find in a back alley in seoul. warm lighting, wooden tables, good music, and dishes that actually taste like someone's halmeoni (grandma) made them.

koreanspace opened in early 2026. it's small, it's personal, and that's kinda the whole point. we're not trying to be the biggest — just the most honest.
